Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Booick. You confirm your age when you sign in and enter your date of birth when you set up your profile. Anyone under 18 is not allowed, and an account we believe belongs to someone under 18 is removed.

What Booick is, and is not

Booick is a place for friendly anonymous chat, watching videos together and playing games. It is not a dating service, an escort or companionship service, or a matchmaking service.

No offering, asking for or arranging companionship, dating, or any sexual act in exchange for money, coins, gifts or any other payment.
No taking advantage of anyone's vulnerability, loneliness, age, money or situation for sexual or romantic purposes, and no grooming.
No marriage offers, international matchmaking, or any relationship that is transactional ("pay to meet", "sponsor", "visa" or "marry a foreigner" style requests).
No fake or impersonated profiles. Every account is a real person or is clearly labelled as an AI.

AI hosts and bots

Booick has AI helpers such as Jeni, Prasanth and Boo Bro in group rooms. They are always shown with an "AI" badge. They are computer programs, not real people, and they are never presented as dating or romantic partners.

Be respectful

No harassment, hate speech, threats or bullying.
No sexual content, nudity, or requests for it.
No adult or explicit content anywhere on Booick, including in a screen you share, a video you play or a room you create. Rooms and accounts that do this are removed and banned.
No asking for or sharing other people's personal details without consent.
No spam, scams, selling, or requests for money.
Nothing illegal under the laws that apply to you and to Booick, including privacy, copyright, anti-spam and equal-opportunity laws.
Files, photos and screens shared in chats and watch rooms must follow all of these rules. Sharing content that is sexual, exploits anyone, or was not yours to share is not allowed.

Anonymity

Other users see only your mask. Booick verifies accounts and may disclose information to authorities when legally required.

Moderation

An automatic safety bot (Boo Police) watches chats for bad words, bullying and the rules above. It warns people first, and accounts that keep breaking the rules are banned. We may also remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these terms. Every message and profile can be reported in one tap, and reports are reviewed as quickly as possible. By signing in you agree to these rules and to our taking this action if you break them.

Coins

Coins can only be used inside Booick. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred for money. Safety features are always free.

Booick Crew (founding members)

The first 200 accounts that sign in with Google or a mobile number become the Booick Crew and receive a Crew number (#1 to #200). Guest accounts count only once they sign in. Booick Crew members get Booick Premium free for as long as their account stays active and follows these terms. Crew membership is personal and cannot be sold or transferred. An account banned for breaking these terms loses its Crew membership.

Premium and payments

Booick Premium is not available yet and payments are not open. Nobody is charged on Booick today. Before any paid subscription opens, we will update these terms with prices, billing and refund rules and announce it in the app. Safety features are always free.

YouTube content

Watch rooms play videos through YouTube API Services. By using watch rooms you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's use of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. Videos belong to their owners on YouTube; Booick does not host them. Classic films come from the Internet Archive's public-domain collection.

Changes

We may update these terms and will notify users of important changes.
