Booick5 Fun Games to Play With Strangers Online (No Download)
Ludo, Chess, Connect 4, Tic-Tac-Toe and Rock Paper Scissors: quick games you can play with a random person in your browser, and why they make chatting easier.
Games are the easiest way to break the ice with someone new. There's something to talk about from the first move, and nobody has to come up with a clever opener. Here are five that work great with strangers, all playable in the browser.
1. Ludo
Everyone in India knows it, which makes it perfect with strangers. Fair dice, 2 to 4 players, and plenty of chances for friendly trash talk when you knock someone's token home.
2. Chess
Great if you want something that takes a bit longer and a bit more thought. Full rules, so castling and en passant work exactly as they should.
3. Connect 4
Quick, simple and surprisingly competitive. Rounds take a couple of minutes, so it's ideal for a first game.
4. Tic-Tac-Toe
The fastest game there is. Good for a quick warm-up before a longer chat.
5. Rock Paper Scissors
Best of three, with secret picks revealed together so nobody can cheat by waiting.
